For those of you not in a position to buy your own plane...

For those of you not in a position to buy your own plane, Saitek feel your pain.

They sell a whole ensemble of controls for your computer that allow you simulate a real Cessna 172 Skyhawk (later versions than 1976).

All told I think the whole lot can be had for under $500. Perhaps more if you want to buy extra monitors to simulate the Garmin 1000 in the later models :-p

In any case the challange now is to find a decent enough flight sim and enough space to fit all that around your computer.
